Rubberize It!
Rubberize It! is remarkably simple and flexible. Just place puppet pins on your layer, select a material and click Rubberize! When you animate your layer, Rubberize It! will squash and stretch it as if it were made of rubber, vinyl, goop or whatever material you select. There are eight materials to choose from or your can experiment and mix your own.

It works by displacing the puppet pins based on your layer's acceleration. That means it can automatically react to changes in your layer's position, rotation and/or scale. It even works with motions inherited from a parent layer.

Powerful yet intuitive, the UI was built with ease of use in mind and offers a quick learning curve. Changes are fast to make and apply. Works with type, stills, video, shapes, vectors or most other type of layers you can put puppet pins on. Make sure to check out the Tips & Tricks section in the FAQ in the Knowledge Base.

NEXT LIMIT REALFLOW 2014 (V8.1.2.0192) BY JSC (WIN64)

What is RealFlow?
In brief, RealFlow is a fluid and dynamics simulation tool. With RealFlow you are able to calculate the interactions between individual particles acting like water, for example. On the other hand it is also possible to mimic the behaviour of bodies under the influence of certain forces, like gravity or wind. The dynamics functions in RealFlow also allow collisions and interactions between soft and rigid bodies. Another aspect is wave generation with RealWave. Most of these elements can be combined and merged without limits – it is possible to use fluids with rigid bodies or ductile objects, generate fluid splashes on ocean surfaces, create buoying items, and simulate underwater behaviour.

RealFlow is available for all major platforms: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. All versions support the 64 bit mode. Another addition to the RealFlow product range is the RealFlow Renderkit (RFRK). It is a set of tools that has been designed to facilitate the complex task of rendering RealFlow fluids. The RFRK enables you to generate procedural geometry at render time and also render individual fluid particles. With this interface, fluids can also be rendered as foam and spray.



New Features in RealFlow 2014
Hybrido Viscosity
A viscosity model for RealFlow's Hybrido has been requested by many users and now our large-scale solver comes with a state-of-the-art implementation of this feature. The HyViscosity solver supports static and time-variable viscosity, and – with the help of RealFlow's Graphs system – even space-variable viscosity. The latter method is used to create zones of variable viscosity to achieve melting effects.

Hybrido Improvements
In RealFlow 2014 you will find an improved collision detection for interactions between Hybrido fluids and objects. The interplay is much more accurate and yields better results. We have also succeeded in removing some limitations, for example the possibility of filling glass- or vase-like objects with particles from outside these objects.

HySPH Bubbles Emitter
With this new emitter it is possible to create rising bubbles from objects interacting with a Hybrido fluid. Bubbles add more realism to your simulations. They occur when an object is diving into a fluid, interacts with its surface (e.g. with propellors), or is moved under water. The bubbles will rise and move to the surface. There, they can turn into foam and float on the surface, or they will be destroyed.

New HySPH Fluid Type
All splash-based secondary emitters provide a new fluid type: this new option is called “Liquid – Hybrido”. When this type is enabled the particles are no longer governed by the HySPH solver, but our HyFLIP method. The result is a significantly improved behaviour, a more fluid-like appearance, and decreased simulation times due to the HyFLIP solver's larger time steps.

GUI
Experienced users will certainly notice a few eye-catching differences in comparison to RealFlow 2013: tabs with access to RealFlow's nodes and commands, and completely overhauled, stylish icons.

The tabs are called “RealFlow Shelves” and with them you will be able to customize RealFlow's layout to suit your needs, create groups of commands, scripts, plugins, or graphs – even network drives can be hooked to the layout. External resources will now act as if they are built-in commands.

A comprehensive, but easy-to-use, tool which provides functions to manage the shelves and their contents. You will also find a shortcut manager, where you can define your own key combinations for RealFlow's commands and nodes. It also possible to define multiple shortcuts for one and the same command. The shelves are freely configurable and you can change their order with drag-and-drop actions.

Daemons
The new version of RealFlow provides a completely revised “Sheeter” daemon. With thin fluid layers in particular, you will see huge improvements. The hole-filling process is easier to control, creates more particles, and there are additional options to create tendrils. Finally, you will get much better, and more accurate, results with fluids colliding with objects.

New/Changed Features
Data directories have changed (for a better launch experience for users coming from Silo 2.2 and earlier). NOTE: This data directory change will require that users re-register Silo. Your same Silo 2.x registration information will work; please email support@nevercenter.com if you cannot find it, and we can look it up for you.
Windows versions are now large-address-aware, this is particularly helpful for 32-bit users when running on a 64-bit windows. Silo can now use 4 GB of RAM instead of just 2 GB.
Windows 64-bit native version. The 64-bit version can handle larger meshes due to availability of more than 4 GB of RAM, the same as the Mac OS X and Linux versions which are already 64-bit native starting in Silo 2.3.
The black-window issue on Linux has been fixed, which was caused by European numeric locales. Silo now forces a US/UTF-8 locale on launch. Some distros may still setup the locale incorrectly, so if you use a non-US locale and run into issues, please let us know at support@nevercenter.com what distribution / locale you are using.
A cut tool crash has been fixed.
Alt/option key handling on OS X has been fixed. This fix was made available early in version 2.3.02 for Mac OS X as well.
It is now possible to delete empty objects in the scene editor.
Exported OBJs should play much better with Substance Painter.
Context menu placement on OS X with multi-monitor setups should be fixed.
NOTE: The OSX (Mac) version of Silo 2.3.1 is coming soon; we've had to delay release based on new Gatekeeper requirements and how they play with current Qt libraries. We will be integrating the latest Qt libraries with a fix as soon as they are available, and will then release 2.3.1 for OSX. The latest available version for Mac is still at 2.3.02.
